How To Use God's Word
There
are many ways to minister using The Extra Bible
as you carry it with you each day. Below I have listed a few of
the places or situations in which The Extra Bible
can be offered to someone in need, to share or to give.
For Believers
Carry The Extra Bible with your
personal Bible as you attend a ministry event at your church. The
speaker asks the group to turn to a passage in the Bible and you
can see that someone around you does not have a Bible. So you offer
them the use of your Extra Bible.
This would minister to that person in so many ways.
Seeing the Word of God in writing and holding the Bible is a profound
feeling even for a seasoned Christian who has forgotten their Bible.
It is that moment when you share your Extra Bible
with them. Your stewardship will not return void as you exercise
your step of faith. It is at that moment when God takes over as
you release His Word.
You
have no clue of what that person may be dealing with at the time
or if they are seeking God for an answer. Just lending The
Extra Bible for the gathering, God will
use that situation in His own way.
It could be in church or at a retreat, at a home,
during lunch or at work, on a business trip, at a gathering of family
or friends or even at a restaurant. There are so many places to
offer God's Word to someone.
God can minister everywhere!
Those who are seeking an answer in their life
As belivers we need to be equipped and ready to
witness in all situations and know when to reveal God's Word in
our Extra Bible as this is a valuable gift.
Those who have been sent by God on your path for
you to minister to in word and action, this is a perfect time to
share and give The Extra Bible. You may be at a
store, or at a picnic, someone?s home and even at church. Just pick
out a few verses on salvation or use these:
John 3:16 God loves
you "For God so loved the world that
he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life."
Romans 3:23
We are each sinners "For all have
sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23
Sin comes with consequences "For
the wages of sin is death."
Romans 5:8
Christ paid for your sins "But
God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us."
Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation is a free gift to you "For
it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not
from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no
one can boast."
John 1:12
You must receive Christ into your life
"Yet to all who receive him, to those who believe in his name,
he gave the right to become children of God."
II Chronicles 7:14
How do I receive Christ? "If my
people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray
and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
There are many ways to receive the Lord in your
heart. Eternal life is not a difficult path it can be as easy as
just asking the Lord to receive you. It's that easy.
